Butch - Rebuilding

Once painting was complete, the slow process of reassembly was started.

The first task was to clean the chassis. At the time I was hoping that I wouldn't have to do much with it.

The chassis is now cleaned and red gloss applied as appropriate.

The boiler was returned having had a good clean up and the regulator rebuilt. It was then taken to my local club and given the very necessary hydraulic safety test which it passed with flying colours. Following the successful test, the boiler was lagged and returned to it's frames.
