Boxhill - Arrival

A few photos of Boxhill arriving at his new home.

Boxhill arrived with a with chassis working on air and a boiler that has a new 4 year hydraulic certificate.

 

Boxhill was built by a gentleman called Ron Roebuck (now sadly deceased) of Guilford. It was started in 1996. The gentleman who purchased Boxhill after the death of Ron decided to sell the loco after it became apparent that he was unlikely to be completed it in the foreseeable future.

 

Much work has gone into the construction so far and the quality of workmanship is very  high. I will endeavour to maintain this level of quality during the remaining construction.
